Date Night, anyone?
David has, and most definitely always will, have a more adventurous palate than me. But that's great because he pushes me to try new things I would never have thought of on my own!

Shanghi DumplingsI'll admit it. From the outside this place is a little underwhelming, but you can't always trust a book from its cover. This place has the BEST soup dumplings and fried wontons I have ever tried. Highly recommend this place for a casual date night or take out for a movie night in!

David and his coworkers usually go out every Friday to try a new restaurant in the area. Since David is always one for exploring new cuisine, he picked this place based on the excellent Yelp reviews. When he got home, he went on and on about the eats here. So, we explored.
The vibe here is a mix of earthy, pop, and Asian. Kinda hard to explain. They have specials daily and the food is super affordable. It's fresh and light.

Who knew that I liked Thai food! This is our regular go-to when we get done shopping at Trader Joe's. Since they always have lunch specials, we can usually do a lunch date for under $20. Oh, and if you check in on your Yelp, you get one appetizer for free!
