Tips for Writing your personal statement
Writing the personal statement is hard work, especially if you are a science major who isn't really into creative writing. Believe it or not, that was me throughout school. Yeah, I write a blog, but this is more just my advice than anything else. Writing the personal statement is difficult, especially when there is so much on the line. So, here are some advice columns. In order, they relate to:
1. My personal suggested outline for a concise and clear personal statement focused on what sparked your interest in dentistry and what you've done to further that aspiration.
2. ADEA rules and tips for the personal statement. Make sure to read this to understand what this part of the application is all about!
3. Examples of 2 personal statements written by current dental students.
As always, shoot me a message with any questions! Best of luck!

Personal Statement Services
I know that writing personal statements can be difficult, so I'm here to help. This summer I'm offering to help pre-dental students perfect their statements and secondary application essays!
Here's a breakdown of my process:
1. Send over your personal statement and/or secondary application essays.
2. I'll send you a questionnaire to get to know you better (your background, why you want to pursue dentistry).
3. We'll schedule a phone call to review your draft, and I'll make some suggestions.
4. I'll make the edits, and we'll schedule another phone call to discuss everything.
5. When you're happy with the content, I'll have a professional editor edit grammar.
6. Final phone call to discuss the end product!
