Gap Years

Gap Years: Coming Soon

What are they? How can they help you? Why should you take them?

There is definitely a stigma when it comes to "taking a year off" before applying to professional school. How do I know this? Because I LIVED it. I was TOLD it. I'm here to tell you that there is absolutely nothing at all wrong with "taking a year off." I air quote the last part because if a gap year is done efficiently--AKA if you use it to become a stellar applicant--then it is anything but taking time off. It is hard work. Before you make a definite answer, check out these articles to dive deeper what a gap year is, how to increase your chances of acceptance post-gap year, and when you might want to consider taking one or two.
